The LWL Museum of Art and Culture, Münster, is due to display a number of Francis Bacon works in it's upcoming exhibition 'Bare Life. Bacon, Freud, Hockney and others. London artists working from life 1950 - 80.' A number of Francis Bacon paintings are due to be displayed in the show, including the pictured 'Isabel Rawsthorne Standing in a Street in Soho' 1967. This international group show will be the Museum's first major exhibition following the unveiling of the new museum building. As the title suggests the exhibition is devoted to figurative painting in London from the 1950s to the late 1970s, including the works of Francis Bacon, Lucian Freud, Frank Auerbach, Leon Kossoff, David Hockney and Richard Hamilton. In total 100 works by 15 artists will aim to showcase the artistic dialogue which took place in London over three decades.
